BRIEF:
The NSW Premier’s Literary Awards and the Premier’s History Awards are an important and integral part of the State’s cultural activity. On 5 April the NSW Premier Barry O’Farrell announced that the awards will be reinvigorated and strengthened, following a recent review. These Awards are presented by the NSW Government and managed by the State Library of NSW in association with Arts NSW.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create a glittering celebration. Laissez faire was responsible for the following; menu and beverage design, styling. The colour red inspired from the waratah was the theme of the evening.
CHALLENGES:
The room usually set to cater to over 200 students with computers and photocopiers was transformed into a unique dining room.
RESULTS:
The event was a complete success. Guests were taken away by the beauty and uniqueness of the room.
